Optiske filtre

Heat reflection filters are implemented for projection and lighting systems, operation room lighting, for counter lighting, and as heat protection filters in sensor engineering.

They are characterized by high transparency and high temperature stability of up to 450°C when Borofloat is used as a substrate.

Application examples:

  • High temperature filters for high intensity lighting systems
  • Filters used to simulate sun light radiation with Xenon lamps
  • Selective infrared reflectors
  • Medical radiation lamps

We offers UV-reflecting and UV-absorbing filters. The UV mirrors permit transmission of visible radiation and are used to separate selected UV zones. A UV-filter edge is created through absorption by the various layers of oxide. A differentiation is made between steep-edged filters and those with gradually decreasing absorption of UV towards visible areas.

Application examples:

  • Reflection for UV tempering and radiation equipment combined with cold light mirrors for simulation of sun radiation
  • Coating of UV-burners and flash bulbs
  • UVA-filters
